Official from MEXT’s Higher Education Bureau Visits IRES² (July 22, 2026)

On July 22, 2026, an official responsible for international affairs at the Higher Education Bureau of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) visited Toyohashi University of Technology.

Following briefings on the university and its internationalization initiatives, the delegation toured the University Library, Global House, and the Institute for Research on Next-generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science (IRES²).

Professor Yasuhiko Ishikawa of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering provided an explanation during the visit to IRES².
